Human Resources Strategic Consultant that brings more than 20 years of experience successfully leading and advising company and business leaders through all life cycle stages; from high growth to retrenching. Our efforts have resulted in aligning human capital strategies with business strategies and objectives, and coaching and developing leaders to be more effective, ultimately driving both top and bottom line financial growth.

Mark Mitford

Mark MitfordMark, with his 20+ years of experience, has formed HR Catalyst Consulting, an HR Strategic Consulting company that will help small to middle market companies in high growth or change and in need of Human Capital leadership on a fractional basis to drive their continued growth and success.

During his career, Mark has successfully worked in mid-sized to Fortune 500 companies. Mark has also worked for PE backed organizations, S Corporations, and publicly traded firms and has lived and worked extensively overseas. Mark has led several Enterprise wide transformations including Cultural Change and IT transformational change at Fortune 500 companies.

Mark holds two Master’s degrees:

  1. Organizational Psychology
  2. MBA in Strategy and International Management

Mark has held total HR responsibility, including all strategic and tactical functions within HR, leading the Compensation Committee, and Advisory Committee for 401K investments. He has also supported and advised Senior Management including all C-level positions, and has Board level experience. He has worked in multiple industries including: telecommunications, consumer packaged goods, insurance, real estate services, semi-conductor, and professional services.

Scott Brock

Scott BrockScott has recently changed his career focus after a successful 30+ year Corporate HR career to join HR Catalyst Consulting as a Principal. Scott is a trusted global human resources business partner and leader with experience planning; developing and implementing successful HR people strategies, infrastructure and foundational policies and practices in small, mid and large sized companies. He has global regional experience across and across diverse business markets and segments.

During his career, Scott has successfully worked in relatively small companies all the way to Fortune 500 companies such as Vought, TXU, Nortel, Marconi, AFC, Tellabs and Coriant. Scott has also worked for PE backed organizations, managed start-ups, and publicly traded firms. He has led several enterprise wide transformations including cultural change and R&D/IT transformational changes.

He holds a Master’s degree in HR and Business and a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Industrial Technology. Scott currently holds HR certifications as a Global Professional in Human Resources and Senior Professional in Human Resources from SHRM.
