Gearing Up for the 2nd Half of 2026

It’s truly hard to believe that the first half of the year is now in the history books so to speak. Considering how quickly half a year can fly past, it’s a great idea to take some time to reflect.

We did this exercise in a profession group I belong to and I found it very valuable and wanted to pass it along as a suggestion that others may benefit from doing.

As we dive into the second half of 2026, it’s a great time to do a short reflection exercise on what’s occurred so far in 2026, and looking at the goals you are setting for the rest of the year, both personally and professionally. I need to say thanks to my Vistage Chair, Jim Brewer for this idea, thanks Jim!

Here’s a short exercise to do early this month.
